India’s 17th And Odisha’s First Vande Bharat To Launch Today
India’s rail connectivity receives a boost with the launch of the 17th Vande Bharat Express , connecting Howrah and Puri. This high-speed train will cover a distance of 500 km in approximately six and a half hours, providing faster and more comfortable transportation options to passengers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the train via video conferencing, marking an important milestone in enhancing the country’s rail network. Operating six days a week, the Vande Bharat Express will run between Howrah and Puri, excluding Thursdays. Departing from Howrah at 6.10 am and reaching Puri at 12.35 pm, the train will make stops at various stations including Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar. The return journey from Puri to Howrah will commence at 1.50 pm and arrive at 8.30 pm. Passengers have the option to choose between AC chair car and Executive chair car coaches.
