Skyroot Aerospace to Launch Maiden Rocket, Vikram-1
Hyderabad-based startup Skyroot Aerospace is poised to make a significant mark in the Indian space industry with the upcoming launch of its first rocket, Vikram-1, scheduled for early 2024. The rocket has a payload capacity of up to 300 kg, making it capable of deploying satellites into a lower Earth orbit. Vikram-1’s structure is entirely crafted from lightweight and robust carbon fiber, and its engines are 3D-printed, showcasing Skyroot Aerospace’s commitment to advanced technology for building reliable and affordable rockets.
