  India is taking significant steps to bolster its  cybersecurity  efforts by forming a specialized team of ‘cyber commandos.’ This initiative, proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and overseen by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), aims to deploy these digital defenders in every district across the country. Comprising police officers from various states and territories, as well as central police organizations, these cyber commandos will focus on countering cyber threats, defending information technology networks, and investigating cybercrimes.
