PM Modi Inaugurate Infrastructure Overhaul: Dwarka Expressway
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram, marking a significant step in India’s journey towards enhanced connectivity and infrastructure development. The 19-kilometer Haryana section, constructed at a cost of approximately Rs. 4,100 crores, is divided into two packages: a 10.2-kilometer stretch from the Delhi-Haryana Border to the Basai Rail-over-Bridge (ROB) and an 8.7-kilometer stretch from Basai ROB to Kherki Daula. The Dwarka Expressway aims to ease traffic congestion and boost economic growth by improving traffic flow and easing congestion. PM Modi’s visit to Gurugram also marked the inauguration of other critical infrastructure projects nationwide, such as the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II)-Package 3 in Delhi , three packages of the Lucknow Ring Road in Uttar Pradesh, and the Anandapuram — Pendurthi — Anakapalli section of NH16 in Andhra Pradesh.
