  Indian Railways is set to ramp up production of its flagship Vande Bharat Express trains with the introduction of new coach variants. The modern trains will be manufactured at the Modern Coach Factory (MCF) in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, aiming to enhance speed, passenger comfort, and energy efficiency. The new variants are expected to feature advanced interiors, improved seating layouts, and upgraded safety systems, catering to growing demand for premium rail travel across India. This expansion aligns with India’s broader vision of modernizing its railway network and promoting indigenous manufacturing under the Make in India initiative. MCF Raebareli has been a cornerstone in the production of Vande Bharat trains, and this new push is anticipated to further accelerate the rollout of state-of-the-art trains across multiple routes.

  Indian Railways is gearing up to expand its Vande Bharat Express network with 200 new sleeper trains by 2030. Of these, 150 trains are expected to be operational in the next few years, enhancing long-distance travel with faster, more comfortable services. This move aims to modernize the rail network, improve connectivity, and offer passengers a premium travel experience across India.

  Indian Railways is set to launch the much-awaited Vande Bharat Sleeper Express between Delhi and Patna ahead of Diwali. Designed to offer a faster and more comfortable overnight journey, the train will feature modern sleeper coaches with advanced amenities. This marks the first time the Vande Bharat line will expand into long-distance sleeper services, aimed at easing festive travel rush on one of the busiest routes in the country. The move is expected to provide passengers with a premium alternative to existing trains, combining speed, convenience, and comfort during the festive season.

  Indian Railways has announced plans to establish a state-of-the-art Vande Bharat train maintenance and training hub at the Nishatpura Rail Coach Factory in Bhopal. The project, estimated at ₹150 crore, aims to support the growing fleet of semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express trains. This new facility will include advanced maintenance infrastructure and a dedicated training center for railway staff, ensuring smooth operations and skill enhancement. The move is expected to boost regional development and reinforce Madhya Pradesh’s role in India’s modern rail network.
