PM Launches More Vande Bharat Trains for Smoother Rail Travel

  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched 10 new  Vande Bharat Express trains , enhancing rail travel speed and convenience for the common man. These semi-high-speed trains can run up to 180 mph, making them quicker than regular trains. The trains also offer improved amenities like seating and doorway spaces, making long-distance travel more comfortable. The launch of these trains showcases India’s ability to design and manufacture advanced rail technology through the ‘Make in India’ initiative. The Vande Bharat trains aim to drive a modal shift from air to rail for distances less than 700–800 km. India’s 17th And Odisha’s First Vande Bharat To Launch Today

  India’s rail connectivity receives a boost with the launch of the 17th   Vande Bharat Express , connecting Howrah and Puri. This high-speed train will cover a distance of 500 km in approximately six and a half hours, providing faster and more comfortable transportation options to passengers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the train via video conferencing, marking an important milestone in enhancing the country’s rail network. Operating six days a week, the Vande Bharat Express will run between Howrah and Puri, excluding Thursdays. Departing from Howrah at 6.10 am and reaching Puri at 12.35 pm, the train will make stops at various stations including Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar.  PM Modi is visiting Maharashtra to inaugurate 2 Vande Bharat trains, 2 elevated road corridors, 1 vehicular underpass plus an institute campus today. During his visit to the metropolitan area on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate two Vande Bharat trains from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), a new campus of a Dawoodi Bohra educational institute, and two elevated roadways corridors and a vehicular underpass. Railway officials told reporters on Thursday that after landing in the city, Modi will first flag off the CSMT-Solapur Vande Bharat Express in the afternoon and shortly after, the second semi-high-speed train connecting the financial capital to Sainagar Shirdi, in the Ahmednagar district.
