The proposed project will span 14 kilometers , connecting Shimla to the revered Tara Devi Temple. With an estimated cost of Rs 1,734 crore , the ropeway aims to significantly ease traffic congestion, reduce travel time, and offer panoramic views of the hill station. This ambitious development is expected to enhance tourism, generate employment, and establish Shimla as a global benchmark for eco-friendly, high-capacity urban mobility.
