Tamil movie star Vijay has launched his own political party, Tamizha Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), in Tamil Nadu. The party, which translates to “Tamil Victory Organization” or “Organization for Tamil Victory,” will not support any other party in the upcoming 2024 elections. Vijay, known for his roles in 68 films, has been considering entering politics for over ten years and has been actively involved in community services like providing free food, scholarships, and legal help.
