Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has constructed a new residence for the CM, which is nothing short of a luxurious palace. Located on Rushikonda Hill in Visakhapatnam, this sea-facing property initially began as a tourism project and was formerly Jagan Mohan Reddy’s office. The palace, costing Rs. 500 crores, boasts lavish amenities such as 10–12 lakh commodes, 40 lakh bathtubs, and 2 lakh chandeliers. The expenses for this grand project include a 4-tonne castle air conditioning unit for 1 lakh, Rs. 33 crores on interior decoration, and Rs. 50 crores on landscaping the 9-acre property. The entire complex spans a total area of 1,41,433 square meters and includes 12 bedrooms, each equipped with central air conditioning and spa facilities.
