Adani Enterprises Bags Kedarnath Ropeway Project Worth ₹4,081 Crore
Adani Enterprises has secured a ₹4,081 crore contract to build the ambitious Kedarnath ropeway project in Uttarakhand. Once completed, the ropeway will reduce the travel time between Gaurikund and Kedarnath from several hours of trekking to just 36 minutes . The project, awarded under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), is expected to significantly boost connectivity for pilgrims while ensuring safer and more comfortable access to the revered shrine. It will also be one of the longest ropeways in the country, designed to handle heavy tourist footfall during the yatra season. Officials said the project aims to balance modern infrastructure development with eco-sensitive measures to preserve the fragile Himalayan ecosystem.
