Rajasthan Mass Wedding Event Breaks 2 Guinness World Records
In Rajasthan’s Baran district, a massive wedding ceremony organized by the Shri Mahaveer Goshala Kalyan Sansthan broke two Guinness World Records. A total of 2,143 couples from diverse religious backgrounds came together to celebrate their love and commitment in a six-hour event. The ceremony aimed to support underprivileged individuals in fulfilling their dreams of marriage and was blessed by Rajasthan’s Chief Minister and cabinet minister.

The vibrant event commenced with couples exchanging colorful garlands made of yellow, pink, and red flowers. Hindu priests from the surrounding regions conducted the ceremonies, which included the sacred ‘saptapadi’ ritual symbolizing dedication to each other. Government officials issued marriage certificates to the couples, who were also provided with essential household items and gifts to start their new lives together.
The mass wedding attracted over a million attendees, creating a festive atmosphere. Held in Baran, an underdeveloped district of Rajasthan, the event aimed to address issues of education, social mobility, and economic development. The heartwarming ceremony brought together couples from various backgrounds and showcased the community’s efforts to promote unity and support those in need.
