Moto G84 5G Launched in India With Snapdragon 695 SoC
Motorola has unveiled the Moto G84 5G in India, featuring a 6.55-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, comes with 12GB of RAM, and offers 256GB of storage. The phone operates on Android 13, promising one year of Android updates and three years of security patches. It boasts a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor, along with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging, and it’s rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance. The Moto G84 5G supports 5G connectivity, and it’s available in Viva Magenta, Marshmallow Blue, and Midnight Blue colors. The price is Rs. 19,999, but there’s a Rs. 1,000 discount for ICICI Bank credit cardholders or through a Flipkart exchange offer, bringing the effective price down to ₹18,999. It will be available for purchase starting at 12 PM IST on September 8.

Motorola is also set to launch the Moto G54 5G in India on September 6, rumored to come in Mint Green, Pearl Blue, and Midnight Blue colors. This device is expected to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a 6000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and Android 13 out of the box.
In addition to these releases, Motorola has plans for more phones in India in 2023. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is expected to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a large 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a powerful camera system. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is rumored to be a foldable device with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and innovative dual displays. The Moto G53s could feature the Snapdragon 778G+ processor and a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Moto G23 may offer a Snapdragon 680 processor and a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Motorola continues to expand its smartphone offerings, catering to a wide range of preferences and needs in the Indian market.
