Historic Conclusion of 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' Campaign Shapes a Powerful India
The ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign reached its culmination on October 30, 2023, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Commemorating Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday, the campaign showcased a tribute to the valorous individuals who dedicated themselves to the nation. The campaign’s achievements include the construction of over 2.3 lakh memorials, the creation of approximately 4 million “Panch Pran” vow photos, and the planting of 2.36 crore native saplings. The Amrit Kalash Yatra, collecting soil and rice grains from diverse communities nationwide, added another significant dimension to the campaign.
The launch of the “Mera Yuva Bharat” (MY Bharat) platform signifies a new era for Indian youth. MY Bharat aims to empower young individuals as catalysts for national and community transformation by providing equitable opportunities. As part of the ongoing 75th anniversary celebrations of Indian independence, known as the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” more than two lakh events have been planned nationally, garnering widespread public participation.
The combination of “Mera Yuva Bharat” and “Meri Maati Mera Desh” reflects a vision for a stronger and more united India. It underscores the nation’s gratitude towards its heroes and its commitment to the youth who will shape the future of a modern India.
