Indri, an Indian single malt whisky by Piccadily Distilleries, clinched the top honor at the 2023 Whiskies of the World Awards. The Diwali Collector’s Edition 2023 earned the prestigious “Best in Show, Double Gold,” surpassing renowned whiskies from Scotland, Canada, and Australia. This victory signals India’s rising prominence in the global whisky scene, challenging the long-standing dominance of Scotch whisky. Founder Siddhartha Sharma believes it showcases India’s prowess, akin to a magical comeback.

Crafted with barley and aged in special North Indian barrels, the winning Diwali Collector’s Edition boasts a delightful smoky aroma and flavors of dried fruits, chocolate, and toasted nuts.
