Is ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ To Shutdown After 15 Years?

You must be familiar with the ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, a popular and long-running TV show. However, fans have been disappointed because one of the main characters, Dayaben, has been missing for a long time.

There was even a trend on social media to boycott the show. People started wondering if the show would go off-air because of this controversy.

But the creator of the show, Asit Kumarr Modi, has clarified that the show is not going off-air. He said they are currently looking for an actress to play the role of Dayaben and that the character will be back soon. He promised the audience that the show is not going anywhere and that Dayaben will return.

Disha Vakani, the actress who played Dayaben, went on maternity leave in 2017 and has not returned since then. Asit Modi has mentioned that finding a replacement for her is not easy, as the new actress will have to fill Disha's shoes and be a brilliant performer.

The TV show recently completed 15 years, and Asit Modi announced that Disha Vakani will soon be back on the show. He thanked the fans for their support and congratulated the cast and crew on the milestone.

So if you’re one of the fans of the ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ show, don’t worry at all. It is not going off-air despite the controversy surrounding the absence of Dayaben, or even replacing some old actors.
