National Voters’ Day 2024: Know The Power Of Your One Vote

National Voters’ Day, celebrated annually on January 25 in India, is a platform for young people to register as voters. The Election Commission aims to enroll new voters by January 1, providing them voter ID cards. The theme for 2024 is ‘Nothing Like Voting, I Vote For Sure’, with President Droupadi Murmu as the Chief Guest.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged new voters to use their voting power to oppose family-run parties and contribute to India’s development by 2047. He emphasized the importance of making informed decisions in elections and addressing long-standing issues. The power of the vote is immense in shaping the nation’s future, as each vote contributes to forming a stable government.

The country’s international reputation has improved, and the Indian passport is now seen with pride worldwide. ‘Parivarvaad’, or nepotism in politics, often leads to corruption and nepotism, limiting opportunities for others. However, new voters can actively participate in shaping India’s future by voting, contributing to building a developed India by 2047, marking a century of independence.
