REET 2025 Exam: Dress Code, Prohibited Items & Important Guidelines
The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) 2025 is scheduled for February 27 and 28, conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). This year, over 14 lakh candidates will appear across 1,731 centers in 41 districts. To ensure fairness, strict security measures like face recognition, fingerprint verification, and CCTV surveillance will be implemented.

REET 2025 Dress Code
To maintain exam integrity, candidates must follow a strict dress code.
Permitted Attire
- Men: Half-sleeve or full-sleeve shirts, T-shirts with pants, simple trousers. Only slippers or sandals are allowed.
- Women: Salwar-suit, saree, full-sleeve or half-sleeve kurta. Only slippers or sandals are allowed.
Restricted Items
Candidates are not allowed to wear or carry the following items inside the exam hall:
- Clothing: Metal-buttoned shirts, jackets, coats, ties, mufflers, shawls.
- Footwear: Shoes, sandals with thick soles.
- Accessories: Jewelry (rings, bangles, earrings, bracelets), watches, sunglasses, belts, handbags, wallets, caps, scarves.
- Others: Hairpins, clips, religious threads, talismans.
Note: Any candidate violating the dress code may be denied entry to the exam hall.
Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates must carry their admit card and valid ID proof.
- Arrive at the exam center well in advance to avoid last-minute stress.
- Follow all security checks and guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process.
