Coca-Cola’s Largest India Bottler, SLMG, to Invest Over $1 Billion in Mega Expansion Plan

SLMG Beverages, Coca-Cola’s largest bottler in India, has announced a massive expansion plan worth over $1 billion (Rs 8,700 crore) in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. This strategic investment aims to bolster production capacity, enhance infrastructure, and meet the growing demand for Coca-Cola products in the region.

The expansion will include the construction of new bottling plants, installation of advanced manufacturing technologies, and the creation of thousands of direct and indirect jobs. The new facilities are expected to significantly increase the availability of Coca-Cola products while strengthening the company's supply chain network in northern India.

SLMG Beverages’ investment reflects the growing consumer demand for beverages in India and Coca-Cola’s commitment to deepening its market presence in one of the fastest-growing markets globally. The project is expected to be completed in phases over the next few years, positioning SLMG as a key player in Coca-Cola’s growth strategy in South Asia.
