Tamil Nadu to Get Two Electronics Manufacturing Clusters Worth ₹1,012 Crore: Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

Union Minister for Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, has announced that Tamil Nadu will soon have two new electronics manufacturing clusters with a combined investment of ₹1,012 crore. These clusters aim to strengthen the state’s position as a hub for electronics production, generating jobs and boosting local industries.

The initiative aligns with the central government’s efforts to enhance domestic manufacturing under the ‘Make in India’ program. Tamil Nadu, already a key player in the electronics sector, is expected to benefit significantly from these projects, attracting global and domestic companies.

With improved infrastructure and government support, the new clusters will drive innovation, foster skilled employment, and contribute to India’s ambition of becoming a global electronics manufacturing powerhouse.
