India and France to Sign Rs 63,000 Crore Rafale-Marine Deal on April 28

 


India and France are set to sign their largest-ever defense agreement on April 28, worth approximately Rs 63,000 crore. The landmark deal involves the purchase of 26 Rafale-Marine fighter jets from France's Dassault Aviation for the Indian Navy.

These advanced jets are designed for aircraft carriers and will significantly boost India's naval aviation capabilities. The Rafale-Ms are expected to be deployed on the INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya, enhancing maritime security and power projection in the Indian Ocean region.

This agreement marks a new high in Indo-French strategic ties and defense cooperation.
