Airtel Africa Partners with SpaceX to Bring Starlink Internet to the Continent

Airtel Africa has announced a strategic partnership with SpaceX to introduce Starlink’s high-speed satellite internet across its markets. This collaboration aims to expand internet access in remote and underserved regions where traditional connectivity is limited or unavailable.

Starlink’s low-Earth orbit satellite network will complement Airtel’s existing infrastructure, helping to bridge the digital divide and support economic growth through improved connectivity. The rollout is expected to begin in select countries in 2024, pending regulatory approvals.

This move aligns with both companies' missions to enhance digital inclusion and transform communication access across the African continent.
