IndianOil to Set Up India’s Largest Green Hydrogen Plant at Panipat by 2027

Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) has announced plans to establish India’s largest green hydrogen plant at its Panipat refinery in Haryana by 2027. This strategic move aligns with the country’s push for clean energy and carbon neutrality.

The upcoming facility will have a capacity of 10,000 tonnes per annum and will be powered by renewable energy sources. It aims to support the refinery's operations and reduce its carbon footprint significantly.

This project is a part of IndianOil’s broader commitment to invest in sustainable energy and advance India’s national green hydrogen mission. Once operational, the plant is expected to play a critical role in transforming the country’s energy landscape.
