Uttar Pradesh Govt. Plans to Make Dudhwa Global Eco-Tourism Hotspot

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced an ambitious plan to transform Dudhwa Tiger Reserve into a world-class eco-tourism destination. Located in the Terai region, Dudhwa is known for its rich biodiversity, including tigers, rhinos, elephants, and over 450 bird species.

To boost tourism while preserving the fragile ecosystem, the state aims to develop sustainable infrastructure, eco-lodges, and guided nature trails. The initiative also includes community involvement to create employment opportunities and promote local culture.

Officials say the project will highlight Dudhwa's unique natural heritage on the global map, balancing conservation with responsible tourism.
