India has emerged as the leading contender to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games, with Ahmedabad likely to be the chosen city. Officials involved in the bid process have confirmed that India’s proposal is gaining strong momentum, placing it ahead of other competitors.

If finalized, this would mark a significant moment for Indian sports, offering a global platform to showcase infrastructure and organizational capability. Ahmedabad’s world-class sports facilities and improved urban connectivity make it a strong candidate.

The final decision from the Commonwealth Games Federation is expected soon.
