Tesla to Open First Indian Showrooms in July

Tesla is all set to enter the Indian market with the launch of its first showrooms in Mumbai and New Delhi by mid-July. This marks a major step forward in the company's long-anticipated India plans, aligning with the government’s push for electric mobility.

The showrooms are expected to showcase Tesla’s premium electric models, including the Model 3 and Model Y, and offer booking and service support. The move follows months of negotiations on import duties and local manufacturing discussions between Tesla and Indian authorities.
