Amaravati Expansion: AP Govt to Acquire 45,000 Acres

 


The Andhra Pradesh government has announced plans to acquire 45,000 acres of land to expand the capital city of Amaravati. As part of this ambitious development push, 5,000 acres will be earmarked for a new international airport, 2,500 acres for smart industrial zones, and another 2,500 acres for a world-class sports city. Officials stated that this move aims to boost economic growth, attract investment, and enhance urban infrastructure in the capital region.
