Expected to be operational by the next fishing season, the sea ambulance will serve the fishing communities and coastal population along the Arabian Sea. Equipped with modern medical facilities, it will enable swift rescue and treatment during emergencies at sea. The initiative, led by the state fisheries department, aims to boost marine safety, especially during the monsoon and peak fishing periods when accidents are more frequent.
