Bullet Train Fare to Range Between ₹3,000–₹5,000

The upcoming Mumbai–Ahmedabad bullet train project is set to redefine high-speed travel in India. According to initial estimates, a full journey on board the train is expected to cost between ₹3,000 and ₹5,000.

The fare structure aims to balance affordability with world-class service, offering passengers a faster alternative to flights and conventional trains. Covering the 508 km stretch in just about 2 hours, the bullet train will provide a premium travel experience with modern amenities and safety features.

Officials believe that despite higher fares compared to regular trains, the significant time savings, comfort, and convenience will make it a preferred choice for business travelers and tourists alike. The project, once operational, is expected to mark a major milestone in India’s transport infrastructure.
