Navi Mumbai Airport Set for November Takeoff

 


The Navi Mumbai International Airport is on track to receive its aerodrome license from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) by the end of August. With this clearance, the much-awaited airport is expected to commence commercial operations from November. 

Developed as a second major gateway for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the facility is designed to ease congestion at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and boost regional connectivity.
