Philippines Grants Visa-Free Entry to Indians Starting October

In a significant move to boost tourism and strengthen bilateral ties, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has announced visa-free travel for Indian citizens starting October 2025. The decision is aimed at fostering greater people-to-people exchange and economic cooperation between the two nations.

President Marcos Jr. also confirmed the resumption of direct flights between India and the Philippines, which is expected to further ease travel and enhance connectivity. The initiative is seen as a strategic effort to promote cultural exchange, business, and tourism.

The announcement has been widely welcomed by stakeholders in the travel and hospitality industries of both countries.
