Bharat Petroleum Corporation will invest $11 billion to build a new refinery in Andhra Pradesh.

 


Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has announced plans to invest $11 billion in constructing a new state-of-the-art refinery in Andhra Pradesh. The project aims to enhance India’s refining capacity and support the growing demand for fuels and petrochemicals. 

The proposed refinery is expected to play a key role in boosting regional economic growth, generating large-scale employment, and strengthening BPCL’s downstream operations. This investment aligns with India’s broader strategy to expand its energy infrastructure and ensure long-term energy security.
