Foxconn’s ₹15,000 Crore Deal to Power Tamil Nadu’s Growth

 


In a major boost to Tamil Nadu’s economy, the state government has signed a ₹15,000 crore investment agreement with electronics giant Foxconn. The project is expected to create over 14,000 high-value engineering jobs, strengthening the state’s position as a leading electronics manufacturing hub in India.

Officials said the investment aligns with India’s “Make in India” and “Digital India” missions, enhancing local production capacity and high-tech employment. The deal reinforces Tamil Nadu’s growing reputation as a magnet for global manufacturing giants.
