Uttar Pradesh aims for Rs 26 lakh per capita income and $6 trillion economy by 2047

 


Uttar Pradesh has unveiled an ambitious long-term vision to transform itself into a $6 trillion economy by 2047, coinciding with India’s centenary of independence. The state government plans to raise per capita income to ₹26 lakh, backed by massive investments in infrastructure, industry, agriculture, and technology. 

Key focus areas include logistics, renewable energy, urban development, and digital innovation, with an emphasis on inclusive growth across all districts. Officials say the roadmap aligns with the national goal of making India a developed economy by 2047, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a major driver of the country’s economic resurgence.
