Zoho to Power NIC's Email System After Passing Stringent Audits
In a major boost to India’s technology ecosystem, Zoho Corporation has received approval to power the National Informatics Centre’s (NIC) email system, founder Sridhar Vembu confirmed.
The decision follows extensive security and performance audits, marking a significant step toward greater adoption of indigenous software in government operations. NIC’s email service is used across various central and state departments, making this partnership a critical milestone for India’s digital infrastructure.
