Andhra Pradesh Plans Major eVTOL Manufacturing Hub

 


Andhra Pradesh is set to establish a ₹1,300 crore eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) manufacturing campus, marking a significant step toward next-generation aviation.

The ambitious project aims to produce 1,000 aircraft annually by 2029, positioning the state as a leading hub for advanced air mobility solutions in India. The facility is expected to boost local employment, attract global aerospace partnerships, and accelerate innovation in electric aviation technology.

With growing interest in urban air mobility and sustainable transport, Andhra Pradesh’s initiative could set a benchmark for future aerospace manufacturing in the country.
