Bengaluru Overtakes Mumbai in Domestic Air Traffic

In a major shift in India’s aviation landscape, Bengaluru Airport has surpassed Mumbai Airport in domestic air traffic rankings, marking a historic milestone. During October, Bengaluru handled 279 more domestic flights than Mumbai, taking the lead for the first time. This achievement highlights the city’s rapid growth as an aviation hub, driven by rising business travel, improved connectivity, efficient operations, and expanding passenger demand.
