Adani Group Eyes Bengaluru Tunnel Road Project

The Adani Group is likely to emerge as the winning bidder for Bengaluru’s ambitious 17-km tunnel road project connecting Hebbal to Central Silk Board. The group has reportedly placed a bid of ₹20,400 crore, translating to an estimated cost of about ₹1,200 crore per kilometre.

The proposed underground corridor aims to significantly reduce traffic congestion on one of the city’s busiest north–south routes. Once completed, the tunnel road is expected to cut travel time, ease surface-level traffic, and improve overall urban mobility in Bengaluru.

If awarded, the project would further strengthen Adani Group’s presence in large-scale infrastructure development, particularly in urban transport solutions for India’s fast-growing cities.
