Elevated Rail Terminal Planned in Bengaluru

Indian Railways has proposed its first fully elevated railway terminal at Yelahanka in Bengaluru under an ambitious ₹6,000 crore plan. Inspired by China’s modern Hangzhou railway station, the project aims to decongest the city’s existing rail infrastructure and introduce world-class passenger facilities.

The elevated terminal is expected to integrate seamlessly with metro and road networks, improve train operations, and transform Yelahanka into a major transportation hub for north Bengaluru.
