India Secures $2.2 Billion ADB Funding for Growth

 


India has signed loan agreements worth over $2.2 billion with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support five major development projects aimed at inclusive and sustainable growth. 

The funding will strengthen skill development, expand renewable energy capacity, improve healthcare services, enhance urban transport systems, and promote sustainable livelihoods. These projects are expected to boost employment, support clean energy goals, improve public services, and strengthen urban and rural resilience, reinforcing India’s long-term development and climate commitments.
