Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing their exchange as an “inspiring conversation on India’s AI opportunity.” The discussion highlighted India’s rapid digital transformation, expanding tech ecosystem, and the nation’s strategic role in shaping global AI innovation.

Following the meeting, Nadella announced a landmark US$17.5 billion investment in India, aimed at accelerating the country’s shift toward an AI-first future.
