            India–UAE AI Collaboration: Innovation Meets Execution in Artificial Intelligence


India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are elevating their strategic partnership through artificial intelligence, establishing a corridor that connects South Asia with the Middle East. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan mapping cooperation across nuclear energy, AI, defence, energy security, and counter-terrorism, emerging technologies have become a key area of focus.

The collaboration envisions creating a supercomputing cluster in India and exploring UAE investments in data centre capacity. Discussions also highlighted the concept of “Digital Embassies,” based on mutually recognized digital sovereignty. Notably, Sheikh Mohamed has endorsed India’s proposal to host the AI Impact Summit in February 2026, signaling a shared commitment to innovation and global leadership in AI.

UAE: The Execution Leader in AI



The UAE has positioned itself as a global leader in artificial intelligence through proactive vision, strategic investment, and agile legislation. One of the most remarkable achievements is the government’s use of AI across 97% of its entities, demonstrating a highly efficient, technology-driven governance model.

Initiatives like the UAE AI Strategy 2031 serve as global benchmarks for governance automation. By integrating AI into public services, the UAE improves efficiency, enhances citizen experiences, and strengthens economic competitiveness. The country’s focus on AI-ready infrastructure, supercomputing, and digital regulations positions it as a model execution leader that translates policy into tangible outcomes.

India: The Innovation Engine



India complements the UAE’s execution strength with its unparalleled pool of IT and digital talent. With millions of engineers, developers, and AI researchers, India has emerged as a global hub for innovation, software development, and advanced technology solutions.

By leveraging this human capital, India can co-create AI solutions, design smart governance systems, and develop innovative applications across sectors such as energy, healthcare, and defence. India’s growing tech ecosystem, backed by a thriving startup culture and academic research, positions it as a natural innovation engine in the India–UAE AI corridor.

For the UAE, AI enhances government service delivery, boosts industrial efficiency, and fosters research and development.
